So, a few days late… but here is what we did last week.

This girl loves to dress up with anything “pretty” (as she calls them) like necklaces, bracelets, and even “pretty” Minnie ears! When she wears the ears, she runs out of Hannah’s room exclaiming, “Mama, Daddy… look!”

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

We headed to the Science Museum on Thursday as an end to our semester and to see the traveling exhibit, Curious George: Let’s Get Curious! We were a little disappointed by the exhibit but enjoyed all of our other usual stops at the museum.

With having to eat gluten free, our eating out choices are extremely limited, so we are always excited to find a new place to eat. Pie Five Pizza Co. have been opening up like crazy in our area. They have a delicious gluten free crust. We were so impressed that they knew to change their gloves prior to handling our crust, use separate pans, and that all of their toppings are gluten free as well. We also love that only serve individual size pizzas so the girls get their favorite cheese pizza and we can be a bit more adventurous with ours. Definitely a new favorite!

I don’t think I mentioned here that Chet was hired recently at a local congregation to be their worship minister (yes, in addition to Off to Neverland and his speaking ministry). We are so excited to be part of this church family and blessed to also still be part of our other congregation on Saturday nights.

Casa Manana

Hannah and I headed to Casa MaƱana Theater on Friday to see a local production of Frosty the Snowman with some friends from our local homeschool community. It was a cute show and I love spending time with my girl!

Fake Snow

Since we live in Texas, we don’t get snow very often. Especially snow that we can play in… so we made our own. I found this fun recipe {here} using shaving foam and baking soda. Hannah made a snowman and added our Mr. Potato Parts for decoration. We then made it “melt” using vinegar. So fun!

Merry Christmas!
