We have had a great couple of weeks! Things have been clicking and working smoothly in school and we have done a lot of fun things together as family. Here is some of what we have been up to these last couple of weeks.
We have been watching the Olympics a little almost everyday and did a mini unit on them last week. They have definitely sparked some interesting conversations and are a great way to learn a little about different countries. We have been keeping this running pictograph to show the medal count for the United States.
I picked up this cute Minnie-inspired dress on clearance for Olivia a few weeks ago. It is super cute and perfect for our girl! She demanded that Papa take a picture with her but then she changed her mind and wouldn’t look at me. It is still cute though! I love having both sets of grandparents so close!
We went to a birthday party a few weeks ago at a really cute, indoor “city” for kids. It has a pretend town complete with a salon, school, restaurant, police station, and library. With dress-up clothes, ride-on toys, and everything needed to play pretend, the girls had a blast!
Hannah and Chet had a Daddy/ Daughter date last weekend at our church for Valentine’s Day. She is growing up so fast! (Olivia and Pluto decided that they needed to be in the picture, too!)
We have been learning all about American symbols, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln this week. I found this cute President’s Day template here.
