Or Insta-September! Seriously, I really don’t know what happened to this month. We have been on the road quite a bit, but it still went by really fast! Here is just some of what we have been up to this month.
This cute girl started her second year of preschool a couple of weeks ago. She has come so far since starting last year! Even on the first day, she walked in ready to go with no tears. Of course, Minnie is always by her side. (She looks way too big in this picture! She does not look like my baby girl anymore!)
We headed to Walt Disney World at the beginning of the month. Chet attended a worship conference there for a few days (He tells me that he didn’t know it was there until after he decided he wanted to attend the conference, but I think I know better!). We also went to Night of Joy. That was such a neat experience. Christian artists hold concerts in front of Cinderella Castle and Christian music is played throughout the Magic Kingdom for two nights. We even got to spend some time with our niece, Jessica, who happened to be at the same conference.
Walt Disney World added some special Frozen themed activities for the Summer and we were so excited when they extended it through September. The highlight was definitely playing in the snow… a welcome relief after the miserably hot weather outside. It was definitely a first to being walking in snow in shorts and flip flops! (Which is how you should always be able to play in the snow!)
As much as we love traveling, it is always nice to be back home in Texas! Hannah loves watching for that Lone Star Flag.
Once back home, we enjoyed a few days of cooler weather.
I just love her expression of pure joy!
Chet and I headed West to California. He had a few meetings in Disneyland and I enjoyed a few days of shopping, reading, and just relaxing. It was a good trip but it is always good to get back home to our girls!
