It is almost time for our Disney Side party! Hannah is counting down the days. I am not sure how she is focusing on her school work at all this week with as excited as she is for the party (because I am having trouble, too)!
We are finished planning and are gathering supplies and beginning to put everything together. For our theme, it was too hard to narrow down to just one movie or character so we decided to use several of our favorites! We have two activities each dealing with a different character. Plus, each food is themed to a different character. All of our food will be gluten and peanut free so everyone can enjoy the treats. Mickey red, black, and white as well as polka dots will tie everything together.
I will post pictures of our decorations and the party next week, but for now, here are just a few more ways that our family likes to show our Disney Side.
The groom’s cake at our wedding was in the shape of Mickey.
We spent our honeymoon in Walt Disney World.
(Next month will be nine years! Wow, we look young!)
We announce new babies with Disney flair!
Every birthday party we have ever thrown our children has had a Disney theme. Clockwise from top left:
1. Hannah’s Minnie Mouse First Birthday
2. Hannah’s Mad Tea Party Third Birthday
3. Hannah’s Rapunzel Fourth Birthday
4. Hannah’s Fifth and Olivia’s First Sofia the First Birthdays
And (shameless plug), we love planning trips to the Disney Destinations so much, that we built our company to help others do the same!
I received free products in order to host the
Disney Side @Home Celebration.
The opinions expressed here are my own.
I hate for the boys to miss the gluten free party!!! 🙁 Parties are such a struggle for us – as you know. Have fun.
